Oh how I wish I were Popeye.

A can of spinach and I would have energy. Talk about a full week.
Monday was shopping......we live 30 minutes away from civilization on a good day. lol It wasn't. Oh well, finished now.
Tuesday was the most relaxing day of all........play catch up on that pile of clean laundry that we need to build a room to hold.
Wednesday.........The beginning of cookies. Two kinds........neither turned out and I had my husbands help. Oh well, I like icky cookies.
Thursday......Boiling and or cutting 25 pounds of chicken breasts. Hey, when they are .99 a pound, even if they are bone in.........you get em. (BTW, this was a rain check from Oct. 3) I like to pound some out and flash freeze..........so yummy and easy.
Wow, that brings us to today.................A new recipie for Pecan Sandies. And they turned out wonderful, I no longer have to hang my head in shame at the cookie exchange in church Sunday. LOL
Blah, Blah, Blah. I just wanted to touch base with all y'all. (NO, still don't have gifts wrapped and sent) 10 lashes with the wimpy cookies. OK? Happy?
Blab at ya later folks.
Toodles.

Aspirin and a Stiff Shot of Jack

ought to fix this back. Unfortunately for me, fortunate for all I'd encounter, I do not drink. So I took the aspirin.
My hubby decided to play "good egg" today and help me with a few things. I was thankful for the help.
No present wrapping yet since I forgot a homemade item for them all, easy to do, just a bit time consuming. Teach me to brag I'm all done.

I really enjoy the Christmas season. The church cookie exchanges, programs, etc. What makes Christmas special for you?

Hey Kids, What Time Is It?

It's time for Christmas Shopping. (Don't hate me because I am all done)
I still have to wrap umpteen gifts and I have been finished for, hmmmmmm, about a month. Mercy, the postman in our small town of 250 people is going to be so disgusted with me. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to mail.
I hope you all have a fantastic week-end, find bargains galore then hurry and beat me to the mail box. lolol
Toodles for today.

Hello My Two Followers

I have missed you. lol

I would much rather do gourds, painting, beading, and just general Christmas gift making than that nasty four letter word called work.

Houses need cleaned, food needs cooked, floors need scrubbed, (yes, I still do that.) We won't say how, but it gets done. So when I am absent it is with good reason.

I have also not felt well. So forgive me until I return, and I must now find out why this Save Now button is automatically doing an autosave. GRR. Catch ya later

HEY Y'ALL, JUMP IN HERE AND SIGN UP
